TOGETHER WITH NETGURU

Every AI initiative runs on one thing, and it isn't the model. It's your data.

Feed a brilliant model duplicate records, mismatched customer IDs, and half-empty fields, and you get confident recommendations that miss, segments that mislead, and automation that scales your mistakes faster than any human could.

The good news: most of these problems are fixable once you can see them. Netguru's free Data Quality Readiness Checklist, built by AI practitioners from real project work, shows you exactly where you stand. In one sitting, you'll score your data sources, identity matching, consistency, and governance, spot the five red flags that signal trouble, and walk away with seven quick wins you can act on this week.

The result? AI that actually delivers, fewer firefights, and a clear case for data ownership on your team.

Claude Haiku 5.5 cuts costs 75%

🚨 Our Report

Anthropic has released Claude Haiku 5.5, its cheapest and fastest small model to date, with pricing that runs 75% lower than Haiku 4.5 on most workloads. The model targets high-volume, cost-sensitive tasks like summaries, database queries, and classification requests.

🔓 Key Points

  • Haiku 5.5 is Anthropic's first Haiku-class model with an adjustable effort setting, letting users optimize for cost or intelligence depending on the task at hand.

  • Early testers reported strong results: Atlassian saw over 30% latency reduction, HubSpot hit 92.8% accuracy on CRM tasks, and Notion saw statistically significant improvements on document queries.

  • Anthropic also slashed Sonnet 5.5 cache read prices by 50%, reducing costs on most agentic work by around 20%, and is rolling out monthly API credits for Max and Team subscribers.

🔐 Relevance

For enterprise teams running AI at scale, Haiku 5.5 changes the math on what's cost-prohibitive. Tasks that were too expensive to automate with previous models, from compaction to subagent work, now fit within budget for high-volume deployment. The simultaneous Sonnet 5.5 price cut signals Anthropic is competing aggressively on value, not just capability. Organizations evaluating Claude versus OpenAI for production workloads should re-run their cost projections.

A Cleveland manufacturer was leaving $1.5M in early payment discounts on the table. Here's how they captured 99% of it.

Steal this: Pull your last quarter of invoices and calculate your early payment discount capture rate. Divide discounts actually taken by discounts available. If you're below 50%, your AP cycle time is the bottleneck. Target sub-3-day processing to unlock the full discount pool. Most companies capture under 10% simply because invoices sit in approval queues past the discount window.

SpaceX is raising $40 billion in debt to buy Nvidia GPUs, with Apollo leading the financing talks.

The deal would use GPUs as collateral and tap the investment-grade debt market that SpaceX accessed just four months ago with a $25 billion bond sale. Apollo Capital is playing a leading role in facilitating the financing, though discussions remain preliminary.

SpaceX already operates massive GPU clusters through its Colossus data centers, with CEO Elon Musk targeting 1.21 million Nvidia chips by late December. The company has signed compute deals with Google, Anthropic, Reflection AI, and Cursor.

Why it matters: The financing signals that AI infrastructure spending is shifting from venture rounds to fixed-income markets, but widening credit spreads suggest investors are getting more selective about AI debt exposure.

THE MONEY

The largest AI compute deals of the past week aren't about training models. They're about building the physical and financial architecture to run them at scale. Two mega-commitments totaling $46.6B signal a new phase: AI leaders are locking in heterogeneous compute capacity and alternative capital partners to avoid bottlenecks as inference demand explodes.

Deals to know:

  • Akamai + Anthropic (Infrastructure agreement, $11.6B over 7 years) -- CPU-focused cloud capacity for AI workloads with option to expand to $20B. Anthropic received warrants for up to 5% of Akamai stock. Akamai expects $5.5B CapEx, $1.7B annual revenue at full deployment.

  • Broadcom + Apollo + Blackstone (Joint venture, $35B) -- Private capital backing next-gen AI data center buildout as hyperscaler capacity tightens. Investors: Apollo, Blackstone

Signal: Smart money sees AI's next constraint isn't model capability. It's physical infrastructure and capital access. Expect more hybrid compute deals and private equity entrances as hyperscaler capacity hits limits.
