TOGETHER WITH AIRTABLE

Airtable just launched a new product: Superagent

This isn’t a feature add-on or an AI assistant upgrade. Superagent is a fundamentally different way to tackle complex business problems, built to work the way that real experts do.

Here’s the β€œaha”: Superagent deploys multiple specialized AI agents working simultaneously. Each AI agent takes on a specific task, such as researching credible sources, analyzing uploaded data, connecting insights, and synthesizing findings with full citations.

And the β€œwow” is what you get back.

Instead of a wall of text, Superagent delivers a Super Report: rich, visually immersive, and ready to present or share as-is. Click through interactive graphs, explore comparative visualizations, and dig into cited sources without reformatting or rebuilding anything.

Every Super Report lives at a shareable URL, but if you’re looking for a different type of output you can also generate polished websites, slide decks, and documents from the same research.

Research becomes a reusable asset, rather than a conversation that disappears.

OpenAI launches Prism for scientific writing

🚨 Our Report

OpenAI has released Prism, an LLM-powered tool that embeds ChatGPT directly into a LaTeX text editor designed for scientists writing research papers. The tool, developed by OpenAI's in-house team OpenAI for Science, aims to accelerate scientific workflows by integrating AI assistance into the writing process, similar to how coding assistants are embedded in programming editors.

πŸ”“ Key Points

  • Prism incorporates GPT-5.2, OpenAI's most advanced model for mathematical and scientific problem-solving, and can help scientists draft text, summarize related articles, manage citations, convert whiteboard photos into equations, and discuss hypotheses or mathematical proofs.

  • OpenAI reports that approximately 1.3M scientists submit more than 8M weekly queries to ChatGPT on advanced science and math topics, signaling that AI has moved "from curiosity to core workflow for scientists."

  • OpenAI head of science Kevin Weil stated that "2026 will be for AI and science what 2025 was for AI in software engineering," positioning the release as a response to growing scientific demand for AI-integrated tools.

πŸ” Relevance

While some researchers worry the tool could contribute to AI-generated scientific content of questionable quality, OpenAI frames it as a productivity accelerator rather than a replacement for scientific discovery, banking on "10,000 advances in science" enabled by incremental AI assistance rather than one headline-grabbing breakthrough.

How To Use AI To Face the Fear Blocking Your Business

Partner Column exclusively available in this edition of The AI Report
By Louis Shulman β€” Co-Founder at Orbit Flows

β€œMost fear is a facade. It looks intimidating until you look closely. Or consider it from a different angle.”

Case Study

How AI cut insight generation time by 40%

  • UFC, the world's premier mixed martial arts organization with 700M+ fans, needed to scale fight insights across 40+ live events annually without relying on manual analysis.

  • Pattern: AI agents query structured data and generate contextual insights autonomously, while editors review outputs for accuracy and storytelling quality before broadcast.

  • Why it matters: Content teams shifted from labor-intensive data mining to creative storytelling, delivering faster turnaround during fight week when speed matters most.

  • Metric: Insight volume nearly tripled while generation time dropped 40%, all from a single unified interface.

  • Steal this: Pick one recurring research task your team repeats weekly. Build a simple query workflow with AI, require human review on outputs for 30 days, then expand.

β€˜AI consultants are getting paid $900/hr’ –Fortune

Fortune Magazine interviewed Innovating with AI’s founder to discuss a crazy stat – AI engineers are being deployed as consultants at $900/hr. Why did they interview Rob? Because he’s already trained 1,000+ AI consultantsΒ  – and IWAI’s exclusive consultant directory has driven Fortune 500 leads to graduates.

AI News Story

YouTube purges top AI slop channels

  • YouTube has removed two of the most popular AI-generated content channels on its platform, signaling a crackdown on low-quality synthetic media. CuentosFacianantes, which had 5.9M subscribers and over 1.2B total views, and Imperio de Jesus, with 5.8M subscribers, are no longer available.

  • The takedowns follow YouTube CEO Neal Mohan's recent letter to users, where he announced plans to "reduce the spread of low quality AI content" by expanding systems already used to combat clickbait. At least 16 other AI slop channels identified by video software company Kapwing have also been deleted or stripped of all videos.

  • For content teams and marketers, the message is clear: platforms are drawing a line between AI-assisted production and AI-generated filler. Quality thresholds are tightening, and channels relying on high-volume, low-effort synthetic content face growing distribution risks.

AI News Story

Google DeepMind publishes multilingual AI framework

  • Google DeepMind has released ATLAS, a research framework that provides the first publicly available scaling laws for multilingual AI models, based on 774 training runs across models ranging from 10M to 8B parameters.

  • The study, spanning 400+ languages and 48 evaluation languages, quantifies how training on one language helps or hurts another, showing that shared scripts and language families produce the strongest synergies while English, French, and Spanish provide the most broadly useful transfer.

  • For AI teams building products for non-English markets, ATLAS gives concrete guidance on balancing model size, data volume, and language mixtures to reduce compute waste and improve model quality for underserved languages.
